So I know I promised you a story about my foot, but now I don't want to talk about it. There's not much to say about it, really. It's fractured and it will heal on its own. The oh-so-sexy boot has become a way of life for me now. It's sort of a running joke now at work, and I'm known as "Boots" around the office.
We don't really need to get into the hows or whys of how it happened (how: I rolled it, why: because I'm a dork). Can we just move right along onto other topics? Yes? Good.
Wait. Can I just say one more thing? I don't think my broken foot is all my fault. Here's why: my mom broke her foot 6 months ago, my cousin broke her foot in early December, and I broke my foot right before New Years. See? IT'S IN MY GENE POOL. Totally not my fault.
OK, moving right along...
Apparently today is Delurking Day! And I know I haven't been so good lately about blogging...I need some motivation. Will you come out of hiding and show me some love? Because that's what I need right now to get back on the blogging wagon. I've fallen off. And I want to get back on. Really, I do. But I NEED YOUR HELP people.
In your comment, might you suggest a blog topic for me? Or you know, you can just say HI if that's more your style.

The foot isn't your fault in the same way that the accident i got into my freshman year of college wasn't my fault. If the university would have just supplied enough parking for all of its students, I wouldn't have been looking for street parking in the first place, and then I never would used that guy's car to remove my bumper. See? Totally not my fault!
Post ideas...let's see....on your 100 things list, you mention that you're good at talking your way out of traffic tickets. Maybe you could share some examples of when you've done this and give the rest of us some strategies to use in the event that we are pulled over.

Thought I'd let you know I almost chose Eat Pray Love as my book of choice b/c I am already reading it but I figured 1) someone else would choose it 2) many would have already read it. I can say that it is a smart choice to have in your queue, it's good, whiney at times but takes you on a trip.
